Unigestion Private Equity sells stake in Tecvia

Unigestion Private Equity (Unigestion), a mid-market asset manager, has sold its stake in Tecvia, a European provider of digital content and software solutions for driver’s licence training and the education of commercial drivers, to Harris Computer.

Unigestion invested in Munich-headquartered Tecvia in 2023 through its direct investment programs, including its direct fund Unigestion Direct III. The sale of the company will generate a gross return of 4.5x on Unigestion’s investment, corresponding to an internal rate of return (IRR) of circa 80%.

Harris Computer provides software and service solutions for the public sector, healthcare, utilities, private sector and insurance markets globally. The group acquires, manages and builds industry specific software businesses. The firm is part of Constellation Software, a provider of software and services to public and private sector markets.

The organisation, as well as the locations and strategy of Tecvia, will remain unchanged as a result of Harris Computer’s acquisition.
