After a first close on 23 March, Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management has held now held the final closing of the firm’s third European private equity strategy with €388m in total capital commitments.
The final subscription round, which was only open from 24 March 24 to 11 April, provided clients who had already expressed their interest the opportunity to invest.
The strategy consists of the Kempen European Private Equity Fund III for private banking clients in the Netherlands and Switzerland, and the MercLan European Private Equity Fund for clients of Mercier Van Lanschot in Belgium.
Van Lanschot Kempen expects to further expand the ongoing offering of new private equity solutions in the near future to meet the demand from clients for this type of investment.
