Vintage Stone Capital, a PE firm focused on the industrial, light manufacturing, and B2B services sectors, has appointed Kevin K Albert as senior partner and head of capital markets, as the firm looks to scale its industrial acquisition platform.
Albert joins the New Jersey-based sponsor with a mandate to lead capital strategy and institutional governance, supporting the firm’s expansion in the lower mid-market, where it targets businesses with enterprise values between $25m and $125m.
The hire marks a significant step in Vintage Stone’s push to grow its platform focused on acquiring and modernising US industrial and manufacturing companies.
Albert brings more than four decades of experience in private equity fundraising and capital markets. He previously served as global head of the private equity placement group at Merrill Lynch, where he helped launch inaugural buyout funds for firms including TPG, Silver Lake and Cinven.
He later held a senior role at Pantheon Ventures, contributing to the firm’s global expansion and growth in assets under management.
Ina press statement, Vintage Stone said the appointment will strengthen its ability to attract institutional capital as it accelerates acquisitions and executes its strategy of applying operational and technological improvements to legacy industrial assets.
