Global alternative investment manager Wafra Inc has promoted Adel A Alderbas to Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
Alderbas will work closely with Chief Executive Officer Fawaz Al-Mubaraki to oversee the firm’s investment activities and execute Wafra’s vision to deliver investment solutions that provide long-term prosperity for asset owners around the world.
Alderbas is a 15-year veteran of Wafra, during which time he has overseen many of the firm’s key strategic and core investment initiatives, serving most recently as Deputy CIO. He will oversee all alternatives and liquid markets transactions including strategic partnerships, real assets, real estate, private equity and venture capital and alternative finance.
