Warburg Pincus backs Asia-Pacific Corporate Services Group Acclime

US private equity firm Warburg Pincus has agreed to invest in Asia-Pacific corporate services provider Acclime, providing growth capital to support the firm’s continued expansion across the region, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Warburg Pincus confirmed the transaction on Wednesday, following reports that the deal could value Acclime at between $950m and $1bn. The investment comes after strong interest from a number of global buyout firms, underlining growing private equity appetite for professional services platforms with exposure to Asia’s expanding cross-border business activity.

Founded in 2019 by Martin Crawford, Acclime provides a range of corporate and professional services, including accounting, tax, payroll, human resources, risk and advisory. The company has pursued an acquisitive growth strategy, completing more than 50 acquisitions since inception and building a presence across 18 markets. It employs more than 2,000 staff and serves over 17,000 clients, including family offices, private capital firms and multinational groups operating across Asia-Pacific.

Crawford, who serves as chairman, said Acclime has developed into a pan-regional platform by combining local market expertise with a consistent, high-quality service offering. Izzy Silva was appointed chief executive in 2024 to lead the business through its next phase of growth.

Warburg Pincus said the investment reflects rising demand for integrated corporate services in a region characterised by regulatory complexity and increasing cross-border investment. The firm expects to support Acclime’s expansion through further acquisitions, technology investment and organic growth.
