Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm, has completed its purchase of a 15.71 per cent stake in Premier Foods, the UK’s largest food producer, through a combination of firm and conditional placing and open market purchases.
The total amount invested is GBP99m and Warburg Pincus has the right to nominate one member to the board of directors of the food company.
