International law firm Weil has appointed private equity dealmaker Alice Yuan as a partner in the firm’s private equity group in its Los Angeles office, which opened earlier this summer along with a new San Francisco office.
Yuan joins from Massumi + Consoli, where she was also partner in the law firm’s private equity practice.
She had previously been a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, and served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Assistant General Counsel at j2 Global (now Ziff Davis and Consensus Cloud Solutions).
Weil’s global private equity practice serves private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds, as well as family offices and other equity financial investors. The firm advises more than 300 private equity clients worldwide.
