Westchester Technology Advisors llp, the specialists in technology M&A, acted as exclusive advisor to CAfIT Limited), the provider of advanced front office fixed income, derivatives & balanced fund software solutions, in its sale to Odyssey Financial Technologies, the provider of private banking & wealth management software solutions.
Westchester was founded in 1993 in London by Jeffrey Jenner to provide corporate business development services to small and mid-range technology companies in the UK and overseas. They represent and advise Sellers and Buyers in M&A projects in the UK, Europe and the USA and their business focuses on software and service businesses. They have offices in London and San Diego.
The Westchester team comprises of:
- Jeffrey Jenner, who has steadily built the business since its inception by guiding it to its leading position in M&As in the mid-range IT sector
- William Berrington who joined in July 2003 when his company, Barcroft Partnership, also an adviser in M&A and Corporate Finance for the IT industry, merged with Westchester
- Chris Brooke who joined in January 2005 having spent the prior sixteen years in the Financial Technology sector working in a variety of senior business and corporate development roles
- Marc Shaw, who joined at the beginning of 2007, as a result of its merger with Ronin Partners, a specialist M&A advisory, with a focus on the UK IP Communications sector.
