Global law firm White & Case has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice with the addition of partners Ross Allardice, Mark Evans and Tony Brown, who all return to the Firm’s London office.
“The addition of Ross, Mark and Tony further deepens our bench of private equity partners in London and strengthens our private equity practice in EMEA, continuing the growth and success of our standout Global Private Equity Industry Group,” says White & Case partner John Reiss, Head of the Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. “The new partners will also help grow our sponsor mandates in key investor segments in the UK and EMEA more broadly, such as alternative capital providers and technology investors.”
Allardice, Evans and Brown are re-joining White & Case from Dechert, where Allardice and Evans were both partners.
Allardice was previously a partner at White & Case. He advises private equity firms on every phase of transactions across multiple industry sectors, with particular experience advising on large and upper mid-market transactions.
Evans advises private equity sponsors, alternative capital providers, hedge funds and private equity investors on acquisitions, take-private transactions, minority investments and other strategic transactions.
Brown advises private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions, complex investments, restructurings and fast growth investments, as well as advising on various corporate projects, including domestic, cross-border, private and public transactions.
“Ross is a respected private equity partner with an excellent understanding of current market terms in the private equity market in EMEA,” says White & Case partner Thierry Bosly, Regional Section Head, EMEA M&A/Private Equity. “I am delighted to welcome him, alongside Mark and Tony, back to the Firm!”
Partner Oliver Brettle, a member of White & Case’s global Executive Committee, says: “The private equity industry continues to be a strategic priority for the Firm and the addition of three high-calibre partners sends a clear message to the market that we are committed to continuing to grow our London and EMEA private equity practice. The arrival of Ross, Mark and Tony follows a number of partner additions that have strengthened our M&A capabilities in London, most recently George Kazakov from Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, Justin Jowitt from Paul Hastings, Ferdinand Mason from Jones Day, and infrastructure M&A and finance partners Katie Hicks and Tim Sheddick from Shearman and Sterling.”
