International law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher has appointed Dr Nils Röver as a Partner specialising in private equity as part of its growth strategy in Germany over the past four years.
Röver will join from Latham & Watkins, advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies on complex and cross-border M&A transactions, including distressed M&A and growth investments.
He has previously worked with private equity firms including BC Partners, IK Partners, L-Catterton, Lindsay Goldberg, One Rock, Platinum Equity, Trilantic Europe and KSCS, a joint venture between KKR and Körber, a Hamburg-based strategic management holding company).
According to a press release, Willkie Farr & Gallagher currently has around 85 lawyers based in its German practice. In 2020, the firm also appointed Dr Kamyar Abrar, who joined from Weil, Gotshal & Manges, as a Partner specialising in private equity.
