Marc Lim has joined tax firm WTAS as a managing director in the commercial and alternative investment funds practices in the San Francisco office.
Prior to joining WTAS, Lim spent nine years as a tax practitioner in Japan and was a partner at Zeirishi-Hojin PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tokyo.
A Bay Area native, Lim spent six years prior to Tokyo servicing technology clients as an international tax practitioner at both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen in San Jose, California.
Lim has more than 15 years of experience in international tax consulting to multinational corporate and financial services clients. His practice area focuses on providing international and Japan tax consulting services to multinational and Japanese clients, focusing in particular on multinational structuring for US and Japanese multinationals. Lim serves a broad range of clients with particular focus on the private equity, real estate, and insurance industries.
