Guy Peters has been hired by XCap Securities as head of corporate with immediate effect.
Peters has more than 20 years of deal experience and worked on a wide variety of main market and AIM IPOs, takeovers and fund-raisings.
After qualifying as a lawyer with Herbert Smith he moved into corporate finance with Lloyds Merchant Bank, where he spent four years.
He then worked for 10 years at Albert E Sharp, through its various guises (Old Mutual, Arbuthnot Securities), before joining Shore Capital as a director for six years.
In 2010 he became managing director of corporate finance at Seymour Pierce responsible for the team as a whole as well as remaining an active fee earner and having responsibility for a diverse portfolio of main market and AIM quoted corporate clients.
