UK lower mid-market investor YFM Equity Partners has appointed long-time investment professional Jamie Roberts as its new Managing Partner, as the firm sharpens its focus on regional expansion and sector diversification across the UK, according to a report by PE Hub.
Roberts succeeds Eamon Nolan, who will remain with the firm in a senior leadership role, continuing to head investor relations and fundraising — ensuring continuity and alignment with limited partners.
Having been a core member of YFM’s leadership team for over a decade, Roberts has played a key role in shaping the firm’s investment strategy, expanding its regional footprint, and scaling portfolio value. He has also been instrumental in launching new regional offices and supporting talent development within the firm.
As managing partner, Roberts will lead the next phase of YFM’s strategic growth, with a mandate to deepen the firm’s regional presence, broaden its sector reach, and support ambitious UK-based SMEs.
YFM, which has offices in London, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham, backs UK-based businesses through both growth capital and buyout investments, with a focus on helping founder-led teams scale.
