Yorkville Advisors, LLC, a private investment firm that specializes in structured finance and direct investments, hired Paul Strzelecki as Managing Director and partner for its UK-based operation, Yorkville Advisors UK, LLP.
In this newly created position, Mr Strzelecki will head up the firm’s London operation and expand and support investment opportunities.
‘Paul brings a hands-on and value-added approach in supporting our current and potential portfolio companies,’ said Mark Angelo, Founder of Yorkville Advisors. ‘His extensive business experience, sector knowledge and network will be a great asset to our firm as we look to increase our investments in the UK and internationally.’

Mr Strzelecki brings 30 years of technology, internet and telecom-related business and investment experience to Yorkville. He has advised numerous venture capital-backed internet, mobile telecommunications, sports and healthcare start-up companies through Ravenbeck, a consultancy he founded. Mr. Strzelecki will continue his consultancy work in a limited capacity while at Yorkville. Before that, Mr. Strzelecki was a Managing Director at Sony Europe. Mr. Strzelecki was also a Vice President and European General Manager at Motorola where he oversaw the implementation of over thirty cellular networks and negotiated, at the time, the world’s largest mobile telecommunications infrastructure contract. He began his career working for the world’s largest producers of semiconductors in research and management roles.
Mr Strzelecki received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Manchester. He is an Elected Fellow of the Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Royal Chartered Institute of Marketing and a member of Mensa.
