Z Capital acquires CTM Group

Z Capital Partners, the private equity management arm of Z Capital Group, has acquired CTM Group (CTM), a provider of managed entertainment and souvenir solutions for tourist destinations and other high-traffic venues, including theme and amusement parks, zoos, aquariums, museums and retail locations.

With an international network of blue-chip venue partners and more than 10,000 pieces of installed equipment in over 2,000 popular venues, CTM is the provider of choice for entertainment and souvenir concepts at iconic tourist and retail destinations. Since its founding in 2002, the Company has grown rapidly, both organically and through acquisitions, while introducing new equipment and categories for its customers.
“CTM is the partner of choice in the tourism and high-traffic retail industry with a global platform, longstanding relationships with blue-chip venues, a service-focused approach, a large installed equipment base and an attractive and diversified business model,” says James Zenni, Chief Executive Officer of Z Capital Group. “I look forward to working closely with Tom and the experienced CTM leadership team to leverage its recent success, continue product innovation and capitalise on an attractive pipeline of opportunities to accelerate future growth.”
“We are pleased to join the Z Capital team as we continue to enhance our best-in-class equipment and product offerings and deepen our venue partner relationships with the goal of providing children and families lasting memories of these amusement and tourist destinations,” says Tom Coco, Chief Executive Officer of CTM Group. “Z Capital’s operational expertise will be invaluable as we enter our next phase of expansion, and I am excited to work closely with the Z Capital team to achieve our strategic objectives.”
“With a proven, growth-oriented management team, a scalable infrastructure in a highly fragmented space and a successful track record of execution, CTM is well-positioned to further solidify its market leadership,” says Rahul Sawhney, Senior Managing Director of Z Capital Partners. “The Company’s business model is ideally suited to take advantage of favourable trends at tourist and other high-traffic locations, pursue new venues and product categories, and continue its impressive international growth. We look forward to supporting Tom and the management team through Z Capital’s operational and financial resources to achieve continued growth, both organically and through acquisitions.”
