Pine TreeEquity Partners sells BMI

Bradley-Morris and affiliates (BMI), a portfolio company of private equity firm Pine Tree Equity Partners, has been sold to Thompson Street Capital Partners.

Farlie Turner served as the exclusive financial advisor to Pine Tree and BMI. The transaction was led by Mike Turner, a Managing Director at Farlie Turner, in addition to Kerensa Jimenez, Daniel Vetrano and Keita Iwabuchi. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Kennesaw, Georgia, BMI has placed over 30,000 exceptionally qualified officer and technical candidates with global corporations. In addition to its headquarters in Kennesaw, BMI has three additional locations in Norfolk, Virginia, Austin, Texas and San Diego, California.

"The Farlie Turner team worked tirelessly to provide valued guidance, advice and support throughout the transaction process," says Tim Best (pictured), BMI's Chief Executive Officer. "We are very excited to continue the strategy we have so successfully executed with our previous private equity partner, Pine Tree Equity, and capitalize on our leading military-focused brand and awareness with top-tier candidates while providing best-in-class recruiting services to our prestigious customer base."

"We are proud to have worked with BMI and Pine Tree on this transaction," says Mike Turner. "Under Pine Tree's ownership, the BMI executive team continued to build an outstanding veteran-focused recruiting business, achieving significant growth in customers and placements, while adding value-added services and strengthening the company's IT and operations management infrastructure. We look forward to more great things to come from the BMI team.”
