Kempen European Private Equity Fund II reaches maximum capacity of EUR245m at second closing

Kempen European Private Equity Fund II, the private equity fund managed by Van Lanschot Kempen has closed with total committed capital of EUR245 million, the fund’s maximum target size.

The Private Markets team at Van Lanschot Kempen manages assets based on three strategies and since its start in the summer of 2017, has accumulated assets under management of around EUR1.2 billion. One of the funds that it manages, Kempen European Private Equity Fund II is aimed at the small to mid-market segment of the European buy-out private equity market. It is a hybrid investment fund that combines investments in private equity partnerships with direct co-investments in companies.
