Gen Cap America invests in OPTP

Gen Cap America has sponsored a buyout of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Products (OPTP) in partnership with management.

Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
 
OPTP, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a leading provider of innovative physical therapy, fitness and wellness products, including exclusive tools and publications developed by renowned experts. OPTP’s diverse range of products, including products such as foam rollers, lumbar rolls, and exercise balls, are sold directly to healthcare professionals, clinics, personal trainers, and individuals, as well as through distributors and resellers. OPTP also provides complementary educational materials, such as books and DVDs, that help consumers and practitioners to correctly utilise its products.

The OPTP management team will be led by Cathy Lindvall, who has been with OPTP for 9 years and assumed the role of CEO upon close.
 
Gen Cap America’s other investments in the medical space include Alpha Technics, Advantage Medical Professionals, and CoreMedical Group.
