Seafort Advisors has invested in Deskcenter AG, the parent company of Deskcenter UK, becoming the company’s new majority shareholder as a result.

The capital injection will enable Deskcenter, together with channel partners, to grow its engagement in cloud and managed service offerings, as well as to invest in the international expansion of the group, according to the company.
As part of the capital increase, Seafort Advisors also executed additional share purchases, giving them a majority stake in Deskcenter. Seafort Advisors is a partner led private equity firm based in Hamburg, Germany and typically invests in mid-size, as well as technology led companies, in central Europe.
Founded in 2007, Deskcenter is an infrastructure software company that enables customers to manage, automate, secure and cost optimize their entire IT infrastructure.

Deskcenter’s customers include the Government of Northern Ireland’s itassist, Volkswagen, Lufthansa AirPlus and the Agaplesion group of hospitals, trust Deskcenters holistic IT management solutions in the areas of IT asset management, software management, IT security & vulnerability management, license management, mobile device management, as well as IT service management.
