Builtup Ventures adds two Israeli contech startups to its portfolio

Early-stage Israeli proptech investor BuiltUp Ventures has invested in Trusstor and StructShare, two Israeli construction tech (contech) startups.

Other proptech companies BuiltUp Ventures has invested in over the last two years include data analytics tool MyTower, asset tokenisation platform SolidBlock, virtual marketing company Augmind, AI-based platform Innovesta, and Everflow.

“With Covid-19 continuing to impact the real estate market, technology solutions are becoming more essential to building owners, developers, and managers than ever before,” said Oded Eliashiv, principal and founding managing partner of BuiltUp Ventures.

BuiltUp Ventures is a Tel Aviv- and New York-based venture capital firm, with a focus on the real estate sector. The firm has developed a proptech portfolio that includes ‘some of most promising’ Israeli startups, according to the firm.

Trusstor is a next generation command and control system powered by real-time location and site condition sensors, aiming to create a safer and more productive working environment for the construction industry.

Trusstor’s system is intended to provide insights for construction site management, including real-time monitoring of all of the site resources, thereby accelerating response time to unplanned events and the enforcement of health and safety regulations.

Omri Sorek, CEO & co-founder of Trusstor said he looks forward to accelerating the implementation of the company business plan, with “the benefit of the experience and perspective of a construction-tech investor.”

StructShare has created an online platform that automates the buying and material handling workflows for contractors while connecting suppliers and streamlining communication -with the vision of digitizing the construction material ecosystem.

The aim is to grow the company’s geographical scope following the investment from Builtup Ventures. “We look forward to working with the BuiltUp Ventures team to help us grow our customer base in the US and Europe,” commented Arik Davidi and Or Lakritz, founders of StructShare.
