Private equity firm CVC Partners is considering a stock market listing for Zabka, one of Poland’s biggest convenience store chains, according to a report by Reuters.
The report cites one of the firm’s partners, Krzysztof Krawczyk, as telling Polish state-run news agency PAP in an interview on Tuesday that the “company is made to be listed”.
According to Krawczyk, while CVC sees a listing in either Warsaw or abroad as the preferred path for divesting the business, a final decision on whether to proceed or not depends on “the condition of financial markets”.
