Susquehanna Financial Group has recruited Shawn Collins, Thomas McCaffrey and Hank Weiss from Citi’s event-driven team to join its special situation transactions sales team.
Susquehanna Financial Group has recruited Shawn Collins, Thomas McCaffrey and Hank Weiss from Citi’s event-driven team to join its special situation transactions sales team.
They will be based in New York and report to global head of institutional sales Aaron Hantman.

Collins, who was head of event driven research at Citi, began his career in the corporate finance group at Salomon Brothers. Previously, he was a member of the proprietary risk arbitrage group at Allen & Company and of the leveraged finance group at UBS.
McCaffrey, a member of the event-driven sales, trading, and research team at Citi, previously worked on the risk arbitrage desk at Wachovia Securities.
Weiss, the former head of event driven sales trading at Citi, began his career at Cathay Financial and also worked on the risk arbitrage desk at Credit Suisse First Boston.
