DC Advisory Partners makes second senior appointment of 2012

DC Advisory Partners has appointed Terry Huffine as an Executive Director in its European Consumer, Leisure & Retail team.

Huffine will focus specifically on the Food & Beverage subsector, an area in which he has specialised for the last seven years.

Huffine joins DC after eight years with ABN AMRO, latterly acquired by the Royal Bank of Scotland, where he was a Director on the Consumer team. During that time he worked on numerous high profile transactions, including the USD980m sale of circa 50% of Aujan to The Coca-Cola Company and SABMilller’s GBP732m acquisition of minorities in Poland’s leading brewer, Kompania Piwowarska. Prior to ABN AMRO, Terry served for five years as an adviser to the Governor of Colorado.

Last year DC hired five new Managing Directors and three Directors, meeting the ambitious growth plans it laid out in early 2011. Terry’s appointment is the second so far this year and is a clear sign that the company is committed to continuing its European expansion.

Richard Madden, UK Chief Executive of DC Advisory Partners, says: “The appointments we made last year were all of exceptional candidates with specialist expertise and impressive track records. The same is true of Terry Huffine. As a company we have set ourselves challenging targets but the main aim will always be to find the best people for both the job and for DC.”
