Private equity advisory and fund of funds firm Altius Associates has appointed Reyno Norval to its global Infrastructure and Real Assets team. Reyno will be based in London, joining the global Infrastructure investment team headed by Brad Young (pictured).

Client demand has expanded our business in the real assets space significantly in the past two years, and there is a sharp focus on Infrastructure, particularly in Europe. Norval joins Altius from Green Gas Americas, Inc (Florida, USA) where he was Business Development Americas- Project Developer. He originated and developed principal investments in landfill gas to energy within United States and Latin America. He specialised in equity investment, acquisitions, and project financing, negotiating complex financial and legal structures, including structured deals for the monetization of carbon credits.
Prior to joining Green Gas, Reyno was Strategy & Investment- Commercial Analyst at EDF Energy (UK) Ltd. (London, UK). His role included financial valuations identifying key financial risks associated with investments, extensive project due diligence and making investment recommendations. He also dealt with complex contractual relationships with close attention to relevant legal, technical and commercial issues.
