Intertrust appointed fund administrator to UK’s first female-founded private equity firm

Intertrust has been appointed as fund administrator to the UK’s first female founded, specialist private equity firm, Vaultier7 (V7).

Intertrust will provide V7 with a full suite of fund administration, reporting and regulatory services. V7 focusses on the beauty, wellness and lifestyle sectors and will invest in companies with revenues between GBP3 million and GBP15 million, providing a growth capital investment of between GBP2 million and GBP10 million.

V7 will benefit from Intertrust’s proven track record in guiding emerging fund managers. Intertrust has been appointed by the firm for the depth of its asset class expertise and ability to provide access to cutting-edge technology.

Alex Di Santo, Director of Intertrust Fund Services says: “We are really pleased to be appointed by such an inspiring, ambitious firm. The team at V7 are truly unique in their fund proposition and we are very excited to be a part of it.

‘A growing number of emerging fund managers such as V7 are now entering the market.  These funds have a real competitive advantage over some of the larger players who struggle to produce comparable returns. Data from Preqin shows that first-time funds not only deliver returns akin to established GPs, but often outperform experienced managers. Developing relationships with new managers is also attractive for LPs looking to enhance their portfolios. Similarly, large LPs can access desirable niche and focused strategies by investing in emerging managers.”
