Law firm Paul Hastings has represented Abry Partners II, a media, communications, business and information services focused private equity investment firm, on its disposal of Basefarm Holding AS to the Orange Group, for a total consideration of USD350 million.
This is Paul Hastings’ second deal this month for Abry, following their acquisition of Link Mobility Group.
Basefarm is a leading provider of complex managed services and technology advice in relation to big data, cloud computing and information security, operating in Norway, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands.
The Paul Hastings team included corporate partners Anu Balasubramanian and Garrett Hayes and senior associate David Prowse, tax partner Arun Birla and associate Hannah Gray, and competition partner Pierre Kirch and associate Joséphine Fourquet. Schjødt advised on the Norwegian law aspects of the transaction and DLA Piper assisted on the legal diligence.
