AlbionVC, the technology investment arm of Albion Capital, has appointed Jessica Bartos as an investment manager.
Bartos joins AlbionVC from Rothschild & Co where she advised technology, media and telecom (TMT) firms on mergers and acquisitions. Working in Rothschild’s New York and London offices, Bartos has developed tech specialisms in insuretech and fintech, enterprise communications including cloud computing and software-defined networking, digital advertising, the space industry, and enterprise software (in particular ERP and accounting software).
Bartos began her career as a Presidential Management Fellow with the US Government, where she financed infrastructure projects in emerging markets in support of US exports and international development initiatives. Her work focused on the renewable energy, space and communications infrastructure sectors. Bartos has also served with the OECD, the US Trade Representative and the US Treasury.
In her role as investment manager Jessica will work with AlbionVC’s promising portfolio of over 40 early stage tech companies, while seeking new prospects with exceptional growth potential.
