Altman Vilandrie & Company, a leading strategy consulting firm focused on the communications, media, and related technology sectors, has hired Don Sutherland as Principal.Sutherland advises the firm’s Telecommunications, Media, and Technology (TMT) sector and private equity clients on a range of business strategy and investment issues.

At Altman Vilandrie & Company, Sutherland focuses primarily on telecom and B2B technology. Within those verticals, Sutherland primarily helps clients with pricing strategy, go-to-market strategy, and sales / marketing optimisation.
Prior to Altman Vilandrie & Company, Sutherland was a Senior Vice President at Harte Hanks Consulting in Denver, where he led three separate business units: Consulting, Analytics, and Data Solutions. Sutherland also worked as business consultant for ZS Associates, where he led strategy and analytics engagements for Fortune 500 clients.
Sutherland earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with a focus on Decision Science and Business Strategy.
