Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Olle Lundqvist as a Managing Director, to head A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) Group covering the Nordic region.
Lundqvist comes to A&M from Platinum Equity (Platinum), where he most recently served as a Senior Vice President M&A Operations in London. “A&M continues to extend our private equity footprint strategically across Europe, where there is a rising demand from Private Equity funds, and their portfolio companies, for practical and impactful solutions,” says Mike Trenouth, Managing Director in London and Co-head of PEPI in Europe. “Olle’s industry experience and expertise embodies our commitment to provide the leadership, action, results the private equity industry requires to develop and execute successful exit strategies for their portfolio companies.”

Lundqvist’s appointment continues A&M’s pan-European expansion over the past two decades, starting with the 2001 launch of its London office. More recently, the firm has expanded across the Nordic region, with recent office openings in Helsinki and Oslo following the launch of the Stockholm office back in 2017. In addition, the firm has continued its growth across Europe, opening new offices in Düsseldorf in Germany, Zurich and Geneva in Switzerland and Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester in the UK. A&M now has 24 offices in Europe across 17 countries.
Taus Wolfsberg, Managing Director and Head of A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group in The Nordics, says: “Private equity is taking on increasingly large and challenging situations in Europe and across the globe. At A&M, our operational due diligence, post-deal implementation and wider transactional capabilities are continuing to help private equity firms navigate these opportunities in order to realise their full potential.”
