Battery Ventures, a global technology-focused investment firm, has made a USD160 million growth investment in cloud translation technology platform Smartling.
Battery Ventures, which has a long history of backing software-as-a-service (SaaS) and cloud computing companies, identified Smartling as an industry leader based on its comprehensive translation platform, one that uses both the power of AI and machine learning technologies and the intuitive skills of its marketplace of translators.
