Thomas A Beaudoin has joined Goodwin Procter’s Business Law Department in its Boston office as a member of Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds Practice.
Beaudoin will focus on venture capital funds, private equity funds and institutional investors across the US, Europe and Israel.

Beaudoin comes to Goodwin from WilmerHale where he was a partner and chair of the firm’s Fund Formation Practice Group. Beaudoin received his BA from Boston University and his JD from George Washington University School of Law. He has received numerous professional honors and achievements, including recognition as a Massachusetts leader in the private equity field by Chambers USA and as a "Leading Lawyer" in the area of investment fund formation and management VC funds by The Legal 500. Beaudoin is a member of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association. Prior to joining WilmerHale in 2004, Beaudoin was with Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, where he was a key partner in that firm’s fund formation practice.
Beaudoin is a frequent speaker at private equity industry sponsored events and serves on the Advisory Board to Asset Alternatives’ survey of "Private Equity Partnership Terms and Conditions." He also serves on the Advisory Committee of The Association for Private Partnerships at Boston Private Bank & Trust Co.
