CAIS, an alternative investment platform for independent financial advisors, has expanded its offering with the addition of strategies from twelve alternative asset managers including Apollo Global, Ares Management, KKR and The Carlyle Group.
The new strategies span the spectrum of alternative investments across private equity, private debt, and real estate, and include structures such as interval funds, 40 Act funds, BDCs, and non-traded REITs, enabling advisors to add alternatives more broadly across their accredited and mass affluent clients.
Asset managers onboarded to the CAIS platform get access to a network of RIAs, independent broker dealers, and RIA aggregators that oversee more than $4tn in assets.
Other managers either launching or expanding wealth-centric strategies on the CAIS platform include Bain Capital, Blue Owl Capital, Fidelity Investments, Franklin Templeton, Neuberger Berman, Nuveen, Partners Group, and StepStone Group.
