Carey Olsen's Guernsey corporate lawyers have advised Pershing Square Holdings (PSH) in connection with the admission of its ordinary shares to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and commencement of trading on the Premium Segment of the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
Effective 2 May 2017, investors are able to trade PSH shares on both the LSE and Euronext Amsterdam, where it has been listed since 2014. The listing on the Main Market of the LSE is expected to improve market access and to increase liquidity in PSH shares.
Carey Olsen’s corporate team in Guernsey was led by partner Annette Alexander, assisted by senior associate Gemma Campbell, and worked alongside lead counsel Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.
Alexander says: “Listing on the Main Market of the LSE is a significant and exciting step for PSH. Our involvement demonstrates Carey Olsen’s extensive expertise listing these types of vehicles.”
Pershing Square Holdings is an investment holding company structured as a closed-ended fund that makes investments principally in North American companies and is managed by Pershing Square Capital Management.
