Global investment firm Carlyle has agreed to invest in SEIDOR, a technology services and solutions consultancy. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Equity for the investment will be provided by Carlyle Europe Technology Partners V, a €3bn fund which invests in technology companies across Europe. Carlyle’s previous investments in European software companies include current portfolio companies GBTEC, SER Group, Shopware, CSS, 1E, Phrase and Hack The Box.
Founded in 1982, SEIDOR provides consulting, implementation and maintenance across AI, Microsoft Edge, customer & employee experience, data & cloud, cybersecurity and enterprise resource planning software. The company is headquartered in Barcelona and employs over 9,000.
Carlyle’s investment is intended to strengthen the management team, invest in product innovation and expansion, develop its partnerships, evolve the company’s go-to-market strategy and drive operational efficiency.

Carlyle has $435bn of AUM as of 30 June.
