CGE Partners (CGE) has invested in SureCloud, a provider of Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) SaaS solutions and tech-enabled Risk and Cybersecurity services to international blue chip corporate clients.
SureCloud’s software solutions and IP-led services are underpinned by a cloud-based platform which enables organisations to proactively manage increasingly complex IT, business continuity and cyber risks with ease. SureCloud is at the core of CGE’s sector focused investment strategy of scaling businesses in high-growth markets.
CGE is partnering with Richard Hibbert (CEO), Nick Rafferty (COO) and Chris Haynes (CFO) to support SureCloud in its next phase of growth, amid the increasing volume and complexity of regulations and risks faced by organisations across all industries. CGE will bring significant resources to accelerate SureCloud’s impressive growth to date in new product development, international expansion and targeted M&A.
Richard Hibbert, CEO, and Co-founder of SureCloud, says: “We are thrilled to partner with CGE as we continue to build on our offerings and geographic reach. We believe our capability-centric approach to GRC and Cyber Risk Management will have a game-changing impact on the industry. It’s always been our mission to not only serve clients but to continuously innovate on their behalf, and this investment will help us continue to do exactly that.”
CGE Partners says: “SureCloud is a fast growing, SaaS business which has achieved an outstanding reputation for innovation and technical expertise under the leadership of Richard, Nick and Chris. SureCloud’s platform is strongly positioned to capitalise on significant market growth as organisations seek to manage the ever-increasing wave of regulation, IT, and cyber risks. We expect to achieve this through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions and look forward to working with the SureCloud management team.”
SureCloud is the fourth investment from CGE’s maiden fund which focuses on high growth tech-enabled businesses across Europe. CGE also recently announced its certification as a B Corp which confirms its purposeful social and environmental standards as part of its activities.
Marks Baughan acted as the financial adviser to SureCloud. CGE Partners was advised by Raymond James (corporate finance) and Oliver Wyman (commercial due diligence).
