Coastal Breeze Partners, a newly launched private equity firm headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, has commenced operations with a focus on making sector-driven, control investments in middle market companies generating over $20m in revenue and EBITDA between $4m and $20m.
The firm will target businesses that are family- or founder-owned, or corporate carve-outs, operating within essential business services, materials and chemicals, specialty industrials, and value-added distribution sectors.
Coastal Breeze Partners was founded by seasoned private equity professionals Brian Urbanek and Matthias Gundlach, who collectively bring over 25 years of experience and a track record of investing in more than 80 companies. The firm will leverage a thesis-driven investment approach to drive value creation through organic growth initiatives, operational transformations, and strategic add-on acquisitions.
