Composition Capital Partners has expanded its European deal team with the appointment of Danish national Julie Helweg as of 1 August 2011.
Helweg’s role within the team will be to manage existing investments within Composition’s Europe Funds I & II, and to undertake research & due diligence for the selection of new investment opportunities for Composition’s Europe Fund III. Julie makes her move to Composition from Property Group in Copenhagen where she was responsible for acquisition and management of commercial real estate in the Nordics. Prior to this, she spent time with McKinsey & Company in Denmark.
Composition’s European Fund Director, Maarten Vermeulen (pictured), says: ‘Julie’s experience and degrees in economics, business & finance, will complement and enhance the skills and experience we already have in our team. The Nordics region will be an important element of our strategy in the future, and Julie’s background in the region will be a valuable resource in our investments.’
