Connection Capital has appointed Joe Samuel as Head of Business Development, a newly created role supporting the continued expansion of the firm’s private markets offering. Samuel will focus on deepening and broadening Connection Capital’s relationships with family offices and institutional investors as demand for access to private markets continues to rise.
This growing interest reflects a wider trend among investors seeking diversification, inflation protection and opportunities beyond traditional asset classes. Samuel brings more than two decades of experience across the legal and financial sectors, having held senior positions at LendInvest, Baresquare and S&B Consultancy Services.
Samuel’s career has centred on capital raising, fund structuring and investor relations, working with private market managers and helping to launch, grow and advise funds and businesses internationally. His network of clients and contacts spans more than 100 countries.
His appointment comes as the firm looks to expand its reach and strengthen its proposition for investors seeking tailored access to private markets.
