Argonaut Private Equity, a private investment firm focused on investing in Middle America, has held the final closing of Argonaut Private Equity Fund V (APE V) with $500m in capital commitments, exceeding its initial target of $400m and reaching its hard cap for the fund.

Turnspire Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on lower middle-market industrial and consumer businesses has held the final closing of Turnspire Value Fund II, at its hard cap of $275m in capital commitments.

Vistara Growth (Vistara), announced an initial closing at over $150 million for Vistara Technology Growth Fund V LP ( towards its target of $400m. The closing was completed in 4 weeks from launch and was anchored by increased commitments from existing Vistara limited partners.

Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. (Oaktree) has announced the final close of its third Special Situations fund, Special Situations Fund III and its related vehicles, with total capital commitments of approximately $3bn.

Seraya Partners, a Singapore headquartered private equity firm, has raised $800m for its Asia infrastructure fund that focuses on digital infrastructure and energy transition investments, according to a report by Reuters. The report cited a company statement which said that the fund was oversubscribed.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management has raised around $1.2bn across two new funds, the North Haven Expansion Equity IX fund and North Haven Expansion Credit II fund, which will make later stage growth equity and credit investments.

Pennsylvania-based private equity firm Taurus Private Markets has held the final close of Taurus Private Markets Fund II, which initially targeted $150m, with over $211m in capital commitments.
