NESsT, a global impact investor and venture philanthropist, has launched the NESsT Violet Fund – its first fund focussed on investments in Central and Eastern Europe. The fund is launching in partnership with Dreilinden gGmbH, a Germany-based non-profit dedicated to advancing societal acceptance of gender and sexual diversity. 

Schroders Capital, the specialist private assets division of the Schroders Group, has been awarded a £500 million private equity mandate by the Wales Pension Partnership, a collaboration of the eight local government pension scheme funds in Wales and one of eight national local government pension pools.

The Greater Manchester Pension Fund has committed a further £100 million to Gresham House’s Sustainable Infrastructure strategy which focusses on investment in solutions to address environmental and societal challenges in the North West of the UK, and support levelling up throughout the country.

B Capital has held the close of its third venture growth fund and related companion funds (Growth Fund III), with aggregate capital commitments of approximately $2.1 billion. The fund will target investments around the world with a particular focus on the US and Asia.
