All Seas Capital closes maiden fund at $400m

All Seas Capital, a pan-European private investment firm that provides capital solutions to founder- and entrepreneur-owned companies, has held the final close of its maiden fund, All Seas Capital I SCSp, with total commitments of $400 million, including co-investments.

The Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board has committed an additional $45 million to emerging and diverse private equity and venture capital investment managers, according to a report by Pensions & Investments Online.

Tritium Partners secures $684m for third growth-focused PE fund

Tritium Partners, a private equity firm investing in growth companies in the lower middle market, has held a final closing on its third fund, Tritium III, with $684 million of committed capital. The fund exceeded its target and represents a nearly 50% increase over Tritium’s 2019 second fund. 

Convergence raises $296m for Africa tech buyout fund

Buyout firm Convergence Partners has raised $296 million for a new fund that will focus on investments in African technology assets, bringing total funds under management at the firm to around $600million, according to a report by Bloomberg. NESsT, a global impact investor and venture philanthropist, has launched the NESsT Violet Fund – its first fund focussed on investments in Central and Eastern Europe. The fund is launching in partnership with Dreilinden gGmbH, a Germany-based non-profit dedicated to advancing societal acceptance of gender and sexual diversity.
