Fasanara Capital – a London-based asset management and technology platform – has secured a strategic circa $200 million mandate from one of Canada’s largest pension funds. These latest funds will be used by Fasanara Capital to support further expansion of its global fintech ecosystem.

CalPERS commits $15.2bn to private markets

CalPERS made commitments of up to $15.2 billion to new and existing alternative investment strategies in Q3 2022, including a $1.5 billion commitment to Tower Bridge Infrastructure Partners, a private equity infrastructure fund managed by Global Infrastructure Partners, according to a report by Pension & Investments Online.

PSERS makes additional $145m private equity allocation

The Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System has made an additional $145 million in commitments to two Incline Equity Partners’ private equity vehicles, according to a report by Private Equity International.

ADQ invests $125m in female-led Aliph Capital

Aliph Capital, a female-led, GCC-centric private equity firm, has secured a $125 million investment for its maiden fund, Aliph Fund I (LP), from ADQ, an Abu Dhabi-based investment and holding company.

Bank of America invests in Coyote Ventures Fund I

Coyote Ventures, a venture firm focused on early-stage women’s health and wellness startups, has secured an LP investment from Bank of America. Bank of America is the largest institutional investor in the fund and follows previous investments from The Case for Her and Tripple Family Office.
