Riverside raises circa $2bn with micro-cap fund

The Riverside Company, a global private investor focused on the smaller end of the middle market, has held the final close of the Riverside Micro-Cap Fund VI (RMCF VI) with $1.872 billion in investable capital, making it the company’s largest fund to date. 

Indiana PRS makes $450m PE commitment

Indiana Public Retirement System has allocated $450 million to two private equity vehicles, according to a report by Private Equity International – $150 million to Hellman & Friedman Capital Partners XI and $300 million to a custom fund of a vehicle managed by HarbourVest Partners.

Lyric Capital Group, a New York-based private equity firm that specialises in investing in music copyrights, has closed its second fund, with total commitments of approximately $410 million, exceeding its target with support from a diverse group of new and existing institutional investors.
