San Francisco-based investment firm Knox Lane has held the final close of its second institutional fund, KLC Fund II, with $1bn in total capital commitments, exceeding its target of $850bn and hitting its hard cap.

Dallas-based private oil and gas company Silver Hill Energy Partners has closed its second private equity fund, Silver Hill Energy Partners IV, with total capital commitments of $1.13bn.

Amulet Capital Partners, a middle-market private equity firm investing in the healthcare sector, has closed Amulet Capital Fund III with approximately $1.2bn in total capital commitments.

Agellus Capital, a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on B2B, non-discretionary consumer, supply chain and infrastructure services, has closed its debut fund, Agellus Capital Private Equity Fund I, with total limited partner capital commitments of $400m.

Volpi Capital, a technology investor in the European lower mid-market, has held the final close of Volpi Capital Investments III with €428m in total capital commitments.
