BlackRock Alternatives, through its Private Equity business, has launched two new European Long-Term Investment Funds (ELTIFs), broadening access for institutional investors and private individuals across Europe to private equity opportunities globally. 

The Riverside Company, a global private investor focused on the smaller end of the middle market, has held the final close of the Riverside Micro-Cap Fund VI (RMCF VI) with $1.872 billion in investable capital, making it the company’s largest fund to date. 

Indiana Public Retirement System has allocated $450 million to two private equity vehicles, according to a report by Private Equity International – $150 million to Hellman & Friedman Capital Partners XI and $300 million to a custom fund of a vehicle managed by HarbourVest Partners.

Bain Capital Ventures, the VC arm of private equity firm Bain Capital, has closed two oversubscribed funds totalling $1.9 billion, which will focus on investments in technology startups from seed to growth stage. 

Northleaf Capital Partners has held the final closing for the latest vintage of its global private equity solutions fund, Northleaf Private Equity Investors VIII with over $675 million of capital commitments, surpassing the fund’s original $600 million target.
