SQ Capital, the investment firm launched by former Blackstone executive Mustafa Siddiqui, is backing K1 Investment Management’s single-asset continuation fund, designed to extend the duration of its investment into enterprise software provider TeamDynamix, according to a report by Bloomberg.

Unigestion Private Equity (Unigestion), a mid-market asset manager, has sold its stake in Tecvia, a European provider of digital content and software solutions for driver’s licence training and the education of commercial drivers, to Harris Computer.

Wellington Management, an investment management firm with over $1.3tn assets under management, has appointed Michael Trihy as Head of Portfolio Management, Venture Growth Evergreen, Private Investments. Trihy will lead the expansion of Wellington’s evergreen private investing capabilities for private wealth clients.

LDC invests in Shoptimised

Private equity investor LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group, has invested in performance marketing agency Shoptimised. Founded in 2018, Tyneside-based Shoptimised’s SaaS platform is designed to help retailers increase online sales. It employs over 40 people and has more than 1,000 customers in the UK and Europe.

Apollo appoints new APAC head

Apollo Global Management has appointed Eiji Ueda, former Chief Investment Officer of Japan’s Government Pension Investment Fund, as Partner and Head of its Asia-Pacific business, according to a report by Bloomberg. He resigned from the fund in March after five years as CIO.

Oakley Capital, a European mid-market private equity investor, has sold its stake in portfolio company atHome to Apax Partners. Following completion of the transaction, the firm’s fund will have delivered aggregate gross returns of 2.3x MM and c.23% IRR across its investments in Casa.it and atHome.
