Investec Investment Banking has appointed Dan Sheahan (pictured) to lead its Investment Banking activities in the North of England.
Sheahan is a Corporate Financier with substantial experience of originating and transacting complex deals across many industries. He joins from , where he was a Senior Director in their Leeds office and advised on a number of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, including the sale of Poundworld Retail Group to TPG Capital and Tusker Group to ECI Partners.
Before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sheahan was an Executive Director at DC Advisory (formerly Close Brothers) (2003-2013), and was a key member of the team that set-up and established their advisory business in Manchester.
His appointment will strengthen Investec’s expertise and presence in the North of England. Sheahan will lead Investec’s Investment Banking activities on both sides of the Pennines, leveraging Investec’s existing infrastructure in Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool and Manchester.
