The Blackstone Group has announced that David Bradley has agreed to join the firm at the end of June as a senior managing director in its corporate advisory group and as head of its global chemicals practice.
Bradley was formerly managing director and global head of chemicals at UBS.
John Studzinski, global head of Blackstone’s Advisory Group, says: ‘We are delighted to have someone with David’s acumen and expertise in the chemicals sector join us. We expect that the industry will change dramatically in the years to come and David will have the opportunity to build an important new sector here at Blackstone.’
Bradley adds: ‘I am excited to be joining Blackstone, which has developed a reputation as one of the leading corporate advisory boutiques in the world. At a time when so many clients are looking for objective advice from senior level bankers, this is a unique opportunity.’
Bradley has 25 years’ investment banking experience, having spent the past seven years at UBS. Prior to that, he spent nine years with JP Morgan Chase and its predecessor companies. He started his career at Barclays in 1984 in the corporate finance department in London.
