ProctorU, an online exam security and identity management company, and Yardstick Assessment Strategies, a specialist in psychometrics and computer-based exam administration for professional testing organisations, have completed a deal to merge the two companies and form a new parent brand, Meazure Learning. The merger positions both ProctorU and Yardstick for rapid expansion in both professional testing and higher education using ProctorU’s approach to security and identity management.

Foresight Group (Foresight), an independent infrastructure and private equity investment manager, is to make a GBP3.9 million investment into disruptive subsea surveying company Rovco.The investment comprises GBP2.0 million from the Foresight Williams Technology EIS Fund and GBP1.9 million from Foresight VCTs. The investment was part of a larger round totalling GBP5 million which included funds from existing shareholders.

Pan-European private equity firm IK Investment Partners’ (IK) IK Small Cap II Fund has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Acture Groep (Acture) from the Company’s founders. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
