Private equity firm Silverfleet Capital has agreed to sell Ipes, a provider of outsourced service,s including fund administration, to the European private equity sector, to Apex Group Ltd.   The transaction, which is expected to generate a 3.8-times money multiple and 30 per cent IRR for Silverfleet once completion, adds USD165 billion in assets under administration to Apex’s portfolio.   Ipes was founded in 1998 and pioneered a specialist approach to fund administration within the European Private Equity market. Kerry Logistics Network Limited has acquired a majority stake in Milan-based logistics company Saga Italia, as part of its ongoing global expansion strategy. The acquisition will also add three new countries to Kerry Logistics’ network – the Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and Egypt, as well as new offices in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Russia, and the US.   Founded in 1985, Saga Italia provides end-to-end solutions tailored to its customers’ project requirements. Great Rock Capital, an asset-focused commercial finance company specialising in middle market lending, has completed a GBP25 million secured term loan for Zacky & Sons Poultry, a vertically integrated grower, processor, and distributor of premium poultry products. In addition, Great Rock Capital partnered with GemCap Solutions, an innovative lending firm that provides senior-secured, commercial asset-based loans, which provided a GBP16 million revolving loan.   The capital will enable Zacky & Sons to refinance existing senior indebtedness and fund capital expenditures to expand its production facilities to support the company’s growth.   “We are excited about our partnership with Great Rock
Gide has advised ENYO Pharma on its EUR40 million Series B round of financing from US and European investors. ENYO Pharma is a clinical stage biotech company developing innovative drug candidates by mimicking virus strategies to modulate host cellular functions. This very significant funding will enable the company to finance the two first Phase II clinical trials of its EYP001 asset in both chronic HBV and NASH. Linden Capital Partners (Linden), a Chicago-based healthcare private equity firm, has completed its investment in Solara Medical Supplies. Headquartered in Chula Vista, California, Solara is a leading direct-to-patient supplier of advanced diabetic devices, including continuous glucose monitors, insulin pumps and other supplies for the intensively managed diabetic. Intelliflo has been owned by HgCapital, a European private equity investor in B2B technology companies, since 2013. Since its inception in 2004, Intelliflo has experienced rapid growth and has become the No1 technology platform for financial advisers in the UK, successfully supporting the business of approximately 30 per cent of UK advisers. Hailo, a company developing a proprietary chip for deep learning on edge devices, has completed a USD12.5 million Series A round. The company’s investors include Ourcrowd.com, Maniv Mobility, the Drive accelerator fund: Next Gear; as well as angel investors, Hailo Chairman Zohar Zisapel and Delek Motors CEO Gil Agmon. The company will use the funding to further develop its deep learning processor, which will deliver datacenter processing capacity to edge devices. Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity firm that invests in promising companies at the lower end of the mid-market, has sold RotoMetrics, a provider of high precision rotary cutting tool solutions. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Headquartered in St Louis, Missouri, RotoMetrics provides made-to-order precision rotary cutting dies and engineered tooling for web converting and printing applications. These products are critical components in the production of a wide array of tags, labels, and packaging items used in the consumer goods, healthcare, electrical component, automotive, and industrial markets. NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, managed by Maven Capital Partners and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, has invested GBP250,000 in Lancashire-based eOrigen Learning and Communications Ltd (EO), a digital production company specialising in the creation of digital media and bespoke e-learning and training content.
